About

Growing up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, I was impressed by the heterogeneity of this huge city, in which so many different and paradoxal influences merge into a dynamic amalgam.

Before I found my way as a freelancer dancer back in 2010, I have worked as a jurist at Human Rights projects, mostly concerning State violence survivals, and after moving to Germany, as a facilitator for education for democracy and against racism.

Both as a solo dancer and in collaboration with other artists, my work is quite varied: entertaining shows in Shisha Bars, Arabian and Turkish restaurants, and festivities (including fire, black light and LED shows), supporting bands, recitals, and readings, as well as shows in the fringe arts circuit. Besides, I am a dance leader for Raks (“Belly Dance”), Gothic Fusion and Creative Dance.

Between 2012 and 2022 I organized the “Proserpina Nacht”, a dance festival dedicated to Gothic Fusion, including an open stage for newcomers, workshops and an evening show, in cooperation with the JugendKunstschule Dresden.

I am a member of the Association Freiraum e.V. to promote cultural activities in rural areas of Saxony.

During the Covid 19 Crisis in 2020-21, with a scholarship from the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen and then with funding from the Amt für Kultur und Denkmalschutz of City Dresden, the project “Doomed to Digital? – Performing Arts in times of social distancing” was developed and later conducted as “Mobile Zelt-Bühne”, offering dance performances in a Covid 19 safe format.

In Collaboration with Oblivion Guest (UK), I produce short Videos, which are monthly published at Patreon.

Since 2021 I have been attending the MEd Learning and Teaching Arts at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
